Co-Founder / Director / Producer
Director Nick Frangione studied under Sundance winning filmmaker Eric Escobar in San Francisco. With Eric's guidance, Nick completed his first short film, HAND ME DOWN, which toured the festival circuit. With this experience under his belt he ventured out on his own and made his second short film, I’M A LIAR LIKE YOU shortly followed by his first feature film, ROXIE, which Nick penned and directed.
ROXIE won Best Feature Film at the Bushwick International Film Festival in New York City, and was Official Selection for the AMFM International Film Festival, as well as the prestigious Sonoma International Film Festival.
Tommy Cook, of Collider raved, "ROXIE at its heart, is a tragedy about lives spent reliving the past, an unmasking of the harsh realities of time and aging, on the need for a real connection and how any false one inherently corrupts and leaves you bare. It's a testament...to how even the smallest of films can possess the greatest ambitions. It was, by far, the best film I saw during my stay at Sonoma."
In 2017, Nick directed BUCK RUN, a drama set in his hometown of rural Pennsylvania.
Co-Founder / Producer
Nancy Degnan began her career in Los Angeles working simultaneously as an actor, an executive assistant for an independent production company, and on television shows such as RAY DONOVAN and WESTWORLD.
She is an active member of Women In Film and is a participant in their 2019 Peer Mentoring Program. She co-founded Intuition Film Productions with Julio Lopez Velasquez and Director Nick Frangione as a vehicle for their collective ambition to tell character-driven stories that are at once sophisticated, culturally diverse and entertaining.
In 2017, Nancy produced BUCK RUN starring James Le Gros (CERTAIN WOMEN, POINT BREAK), Kevin J. O’Connor (THERE WILL BE BLOOD, WIDOWS), Amy Hargreaves (13 REASONS WHY) and Nolan Lyons (BOARDWALK EMPIRE), which premiered at the Palm Springs Intl. Film Festival, and produced her second feature film this year, SILENT NOTES, starring actor Daniel Durant (SPRING AWAKENING), now in post-production.
As an Associate Producer, Degnan joined with Director, Jennifer Pepperman for the production of web-series AFTER FOREVER starring Kevin Spirtas (DAYS OF OUR LIVES) and Mitchell Anderson (DOOGIE HOWSER, M.D.), which won five Daytime Emmys, setting a record for the most Emmys won by an LGTBQ series in one year.
